Raining

deep love is like the falling rain
we bathe regularly
swim in pools, live on oceans
swirls of deep blue enveloping our lives
however when the rain comes we stay inside
tell the rain to go away and come again another day
today is not the day for the rain and me
i said that when i'm in love ill walk in the rain
feel the watery world of thousands of feet crash on our faces
but not today we say
today is my day and ill live it as such
